87% of professionals say artificial intelligence and email marketing are best combination
Today we would like to make an aside about artificial intelligence in the field of email marketingWe will do so on the basis of data collected in a report by SalesforceCRM solutions provider.

It is not surprising that thanks to Artificial Intelligence's ability to analyse large amounts of data, identify patterns and trends and, therefore, automatically formulate predictions, it has become so well established in the marketing world. Professionals have already realised that implementing it in the different areas of a discipline such as marketing, which is increasingly more analytical and quantitative, is highly effective.

In this case, the email marketing is one of the areas where marketers prefer to bet on artificial intelligence, as evidenced by Salesforce's survey of 1,028 marketers worldwide in the first quarter of 2017.
87% of the respondents say that if they have to implement the artificial intelligence in some area of marketing would or already does in email marketing.. However, we cannot overlook the fact that it also an 87% would implement it in sales forecasting y a 83% in the field of customer service or sales/leads.
Here is a reminder of some of the functionalities that artificial intelligence gives to email marketing:
- Predicting subscriber behaviour. Know how likely customers are to respond in a certain way before sending an email campaign. By having a rough anticipation of their reactions we can strategise.
- Segmentation. Segmenting the customer and prospect database by grouping them together according to their interests or similar data, all through predictive behaviour.
- Time of dispatch. Thanks to its algorithm, we will be able to know which is the best time for subscribers to open and interact with the email and, therefore, the best time to send it.
And you, do you implement artificial intelligence in email marketing? And if so, in which areas do you do it?
