In this instance, I will explain how I attained the\u00a0<strong>Oracle Responsys B2C Master accreditation<\/strong>\u00a0and how the process works.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/FranCertificacion.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11154\" width=\"341\" height=\"327\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>First of all, for those who don&#8217;t know or aren&#8217;t familiar with it,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oracle.com\/es\/cx\/marketing\/campaign-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oracle Responsys<\/a>\u00a0is an email and marketing automation platform that allows highly personalized cross-channel communications. Having a solid knowledge of all its features can help you plan email campaigns and automated programs in an exhaustive and effective way.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>For a more in-depth understanding, there are accreditations and certifications that, apart from being a great complement to previous knowledge on the subject, recognize marketing professionals&#8217; abilities and proficiency in the platform&#8217;s best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>As is the case with Eloqua, Responsys also differentiates between\u00a0<strong>accreditation<\/strong>\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/community.oracle.com\/docs\/DOC-992723\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>B2C Master<\/strong><\/a>), the one I attained, and this blog post&#8217;s main focus, and\u00a0<strong>certification<\/strong>\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/community.oracle.com\/docs\/DOC-1028158\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Responsys Implementation Bootcamp<\/strong><\/a>), a more technical approach.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>No matter the option you choose,\u00a0<strong>you will have to complete a specific Oracle Responsys training<\/strong>, and so, you can&#8217;t just take the exam. When I decided to sign up for this training, there were <strong>5 different modalities<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Live Virtual Courses<\/li><li>Instructor Led Training<\/li><li>On Demand&nbsp;<\/li><li>Web Based Training<\/li><li>QuickCast<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>As my colleague Gabriela did, I opted for the\u00a0<strong>On Demand<\/strong>\u00a0option. This modality allowed me to choose which subjects I wanted to see more in-depth and which ones I wanted to spend less time on since I was already quite familiar with the platform given I used it daily for my client. The training syllabus was structured around the following <strong>10 subjects<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Navigation<\/li><li>Data Sources<\/li><li>Audience Designer<\/li><li>Segment Groups<\/li><li>Managing Content<\/li><li>Introduction to RPL for Marketers<\/li><li>Basic Email Campaigns<\/li><li>Dynamic Campaigns<\/li><li>Program<\/li><li>Reporting with Interactive Dashboards<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/cursos_acreditacion_oracle.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11155\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>Each one includes different subtopics taught via videos. There is also a&nbsp;<strong>Resources<\/strong>&nbsp;section, where you can find the&nbsp;<strong>Lab<\/strong>the&nbsp;<strong>Student Guides<\/strong>&nbsp;(much more comprehensive than the videos, and with case studies to practice), and the option to&nbsp;<strong>consult with an instructor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>After you complete all the subjects, you must pass an exam:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/community.oracle.com\/topliners\/discussion\/4469756\/requirements-for-oracle-responsys-essentials-master-accreditation-2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oracle Responsys 2020<\/a>\u00a0(I took the 2019 version), consisting of <strong>40 multiple-choice questions<\/strong> covering all the different topics studied. To pass, it is necessary to answer correctly <strong>at least 80% (32) of the questions<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you pass the exam, you will receive the<strong>&nbsp;Responsys Master<\/strong>&nbsp;title along with a certificate with the expiration date and the insignia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/certification_complete.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11158\" width=\"327\" height=\"145\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This accreditation <strong>has to be renewed annually<\/strong> to show a complete mastery of the syllabus of Oracle Responsys and your ongoing commitment to the platform excellence.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are considering getting the&nbsp;<strong>Oracle Responsys B2C Master<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>accreditation, my advice<\/strong>&nbsp;on how to prepare is:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you don&#8217;t regularly use the platform, chose the&nbsp;<strong>Live Virtual Courses&nbsp;<\/strong>option instead of&nbsp;<strong>On Demand<\/strong>. It will be easier to follow and understand.&nbsp;<\/li><li>It is advisable to have basic knowledge\/mastery of the platform. If this is not the case, you could pass the exam by thoroughly studying the&nbsp;<strong>Student Guides<\/strong>&nbsp;and, most importantly, working on the Case Studies found in them.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Create a&nbsp;<strong>study schedule<\/strong>&nbsp;and follow it religiously. Since all is taught through explanatory videos, it is easy to forget information unless you have a set and regular study routine. Keep in mind that the exam questions are very specific.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>In our case, given our proactive spirit and our clients&#8217; demands, we considered it crucial to have this kind of accreditation.
