The premise is pretty simple: either you deliver, or you won't make it to the inbox\".<\/p>\n<cite><em>Daniel Agudelo<\/em><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>So, in this post, let's take a look at the<strong> factors affecting email deliverability and how to optimise them<\/strong>We will look in detail at SPF, DKIM and DMARC certificates, and share strategies for avoiding blacklists and improving sender reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color\" style=\"color:#0b4057\">What is the <strong>factors affecting the deliverability of <\/strong>the emails?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sender's reputation<\/span>.<\/strong> Sender reputation is based on the sending history of your domain and IP address. Factors such as high bounce rates, spam complaints and sending frequency affect this reputation. Maintaining a good reputation is crucial to ensure that your emails reach recipients' inboxes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quality of the subscriber list<\/span>.<\/strong> Sending emails to an outdated or unsegmented contact list can result in high bounces and low interaction rates. It is essential to maintain a clean and up-to-date list, segmenting users according to their behaviour and preferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Email content<\/span>.<\/strong> The content of your emails also influences deliverability. Spam filters scan content for suspicious words and phrases, excessive images, and broken links. Make sure your content is relevant and well balanced between text and images.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">User interaction<\/span>.<\/strong> Open rates, click-through rates and other user interactions with your emails are indicative of the quality and relevance of your mailings. Email service providers (ESPs) monitor these metrics to determine whether your emails should be sent to the inbox or spam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color\" style=\"color:#0b4057\"><strong>Implement <\/strong>the<strong> e-mail authentication: SPF, DKIM and DMARC<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As we said at the beginning of the post, email authentication is essential to protect your domain and improve deliverability. Based on the data obtained, we will adjust the different strategies.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Segment and personalise your emails<\/span>.<\/strong> Segmentation and personalisation can increase the relevance of your emails and improve engagement rates. Send targeted and valuable content to different segments of your audience instead of a single, generic message.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Solicits feedback from users<\/span>.<\/strong> Allow your subscribers to manage their subscription preferences and provide clear unsubscribe options. Solicit feedback to better understand their needs and adjust your campaigns accordingly.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Avoid suspicious practices<\/span><\/strong>. Do not buy email lists or send unsolicited mailings. These practices can result in high complaint rates and damage your reputation. Focus on organic growth of your subscriber list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In short, as we have said, optimising the deliverability of your emails is a constant process that requires attention to several factors.
