According to the latest <a title=\"2012 Response Rate Report\" href=\"https:\/\/imis.the-dma.org\/bookstore\/ProductSingle.cfm?p=0D45047D|B965EFD73F1CD06E4A48C20E9F09BB71\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Response Rate Report of the Direct Marketing Association,<\/em><\/a> in 2012 <strong>the ROI of email marketing<\/strong> loyalty was 28.50$ in sales for every 1$ invested. However, we were struck by the following data on the ROI of email marketing that we have seen in the <a title=\"2013 Email Marketing Report\" href=\"http:\/\/meclabs.com\/training\/publications\/benchmark-report\/2013-email-marketing\/free-excerpt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>MarketingSherpa 2013 Email Marketing Benchmark Report<\/em><\/a>.<!--more--><br \/>\nQ: Which statement best describes your organisation's perception of email marketing's ROI (return on investment) at budget time?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketingsherpa.com\/charts\/chartofweek-08-27-13-lp.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.marketingsherpa.com\/charts\/chartofweek-08-27-13-lp.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"382\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Q: Does your organisation have a method for quantifying ROI from email marketing?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">- No: 59%<br \/>\n- Yes: 41%<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is clear from this data that a large percentage of marketers have the perception that email produces a positive ROI, which is true. However, they do not rely on concrete metrics to reach this conclusion. Surprisingly, this <strong>41% of professionals who say they do not have a methodology for measuring the ROI of email marketing in their organisation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some of the most common reasons for not measuring email marketing ROI that we hear are that we don't have the ability to link e-commerce sales to email, and also that we don't have a clear measure of the direct costs associated with a campaign.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In fact, to determine the ROI of email marketing it is not enough to measure the CTR and the conversion rate. <strong>you need to know the revenue generated and the costs of the campaign (usually CPM, and creative).<\/strong>. With this data, we can calculate the ROI of the email marketing investment (Net revenue \/ costs) or the revenue generated per email sent (Net revenue \/ total emails sent).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another interesting metric is the <strong>Customer Lifetime Value<\/strong>which sheds light on the lifetime value of a user.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Email Marketing de fidelizaci\u00f3n puede ser extremadamente eficiente.
