There are several reasons for this neglect. The main ones are:<br \/>\n- The <strong>shipping costs<\/strong>or deter the user<br \/>\n- The user wants to know the total amount of the purchase including shipping costs but has not yet decided to buy.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n- The user wishes to <strong>list your products of interest<\/strong> to make the purchase at a later date.<br \/>\n\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 El <strong>method of payment<\/strong>or available is not as desired.<br \/>\n- The user does not finalise the purchase because of a<strong> interruption in the process<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIn 2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emarketer.com\/Article\/Retailers-Rethink-Shopping-Cart-Abandonment\/1009645\">an eMarketer study<\/a> \u00a0summed it up with the following statistics:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/carritos-abandonados.gif\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2487 aligncenter\" alt=\"Carritos abandonados\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/carritos-abandonados.gif\" width=\"324\" height=\"282\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/carritos-abandonados2.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2488 aligncenter\" alt=\"Carritos abandonados\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/carritos-abandonados2.gif\" width=\"324\" height=\"262\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOne of the key aspects is the <strong>the costs of sending<\/strong>o. 40% of users state that the charge should be displayed earlier in the checkout process. Greater transparency with this data would certainly reduce the abandonment rate, but the question is... could it also deter more users from starting the checkout process and have a negative impact on sales?<br \/>\nIn any case, all these reasons for trolley abandonment have a <strong>common ground: interest in the products listed in the basket<\/strong>.
