{"id":2639,"date":"2014-03-12T07:22:41","date_gmt":"2014-03-12T07:22:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/blog\/?p=2639"},"modified":"2014-03-12T07:22:41","modified_gmt":"2014-03-12T07:22:41","slug":"ejemplos-de-email-marketing-dell-aumenta-sus-ingresos-un-109-con-gif-en-su-campana-de-email","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/en\/ejemplos-de-email-marketing-dell-aumenta-sus-ingresos-un-109-con-gif-en-su-campana-de-email\/","title":{"rendered":"Email Marketing Examples: Dell increases revenue by 109% with GIF in email campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the previous post we talked about the power of<strong> <a title=\"The power of GIFs in email marketing\" href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/en\/blog\/gif-email-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GIFs in email marketing<\/a><\/strong>Today we illustrate this with a case study.<br \/>\nLast year, the technology brand Dell was faced with the challenge of communicating the launch of a new product: the <a title=\"Dell Ultrabook Convertible\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dell.com\/es\/p\/xps-12-l221x\/pd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Dell XPS 12 Convertible Ultrabook.<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>The challenge<\/strong>Conveying to the user what a \"Convertible\" is without cluttering the email with text or producing complex copy.<!--more--><br \/>\nFrom Dell, they understood that we users like to \"<strong>learn visually<\/strong>\"But a product whose appeal lies in its transformability could not be communicated through static images. This is why they saw a great opportunity in <strong>the GIF format<\/strong>which <strong>allowed, by means of a simple animation, to show the operation of the device<\/strong>.
