When, for whatever reason, the user does not complete the transaction, this information, along with the product, amount, and even complementary products, is used to construct an email that will be sent to the user as a reminder in the time frame that we define. The user who receives this reminder email can then return to the e-commerce and complete the purchase. To do this, it is necessary to have a recommendation system built into the e-commerce that determines which products are most likely to sell for each customer in a given situation. From there, blocks of user-specific content can be created and included in an email.
