{"id":3274,"date":"2014-10-06T07:32:06","date_gmt":"2014-10-06T07:32:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/blog\/?p=3274"},"modified":"2014-10-06T07:32:06","modified_gmt":"2014-10-06T07:32:06","slug":"caso-practico-aumento-de-un-16-en-el-click-to-open-gracias-al-responsive-email","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/en\/caso-practico-aumento-de-un-16-en-el-click-to-open-gracias-al-responsive-email\/","title":{"rendered":"Case study: 16% increase in Click To Open thanks to responsive email"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Recientemente hemos llevado a cabo, para uno de nuestros clientes, un AB test con el objetivo de determinar el <strong>impacto del responsive email en el comportamiento del usuario<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>CONTEXTO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/en\/blog\/responsive-email-design-como-maquetar-un-email-movil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maquetar un emailing responsive<\/a> no es una tarea f\u00e1cil. Por un lado, se necesita haber experimentado en un buen n\u00famero de ocasiones y circunstancias; como en todo trabajo \u00abartesanal\u00bb, la experiencia es b\u00e1sica para lograr un buen acabado. Por otro lado, se necesita un buen conocimiento de las <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/en\/blog\/responsive-email-design-consejos-para-la-maquetacion-htmlcss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">t\u00e9cnicas que se aplican al responsive<\/a> y estar al d\u00eda de lo que otros colegas en\u00a0la industria comparten y publican. Finalmente, asumiendo que tenemos el talento adecuado, deberemos de prepararnos para dedicar unas cuantas horas a codificar correctamente el html.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">En la agencia disponemos del talento necesario para abordar este tipo de proyectos. Sin embargo, cuando valoramos la posibilidad, junto al cliente, de hacer los emailings responsive, surgi\u00f3 la duda de si la inversi\u00f3n en tiempo necesaria quedar\u00eda justificada por los resultados. Adem\u00e1s, planeaba la duda de si <strong>la densidad del c\u00f3digo pod\u00eda afectar o no a la entregabilidad del los emailings<\/strong> (apenas hay informaci\u00f3n al respecto y la que hemos encontrado es ambigua)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>EL TEST<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As\u00ed las cosas, decidimos llevar a cabo un AB testing con el doble objetivo de determinar si la maquetaci\u00f3n responsive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Penalizaba a entregabilidad<\/li>\n<li>Mejoraba las m\u00e9tricas de click<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\">Para ello, llevamos a cabo un AB test sencillo en el que a la mitad de la base de datos enviamos el email responsive y a la otra mitad una versi\u00f3n \u00abnormal\u00bb. El resto de variables (d\u00eda y hora del env\u00edo, asunto, contenido) fueron id\u00e9nticas\u00a0en ambos casos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Estos son los resultados<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/ab_test_responsive.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3275\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitalresponse.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/ab_test_responsive.png\" alt=\"ab_test_responsive\" width=\"880\" height=\"496\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La tasa de aperturas no se vio penalizada<\/li>\n<li><strong>La tasa de click to open fue un 16% mayor en la versi\u00f3n responsive<\/strong>. En otros t\u00e9rminos, hubo un 16% m\u00e1s de usuarios que hicieron click en el email al abrirlo en la versi\u00f3n responsive que en la normal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">El planteamiento que inmediatamente se hizo fue determinar\u00a0<strong>la relaci\u00f3n de los clics con las conversiones<\/strong>, quedando patente<strong> el mayor ROI de la versi\u00f3n responsive<\/strong>. As\u00ed, con estos datos, qued\u00f3 justificada la inversi\u00f3n que hicimos a partir de ese momento en maquetar todos los emailings en responsive.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have recently carried out an AB test for one of our clients to determine the impact of responsive email on user behaviour.
