Blacklists: How to remove my IP from a Blacklist?
In the previous post we talked about how to detect if you have been blacklisted. Today we tell you about the next step, remove our IP from these blacklists. This is sometimes a cumbersome process, as the only solution is to complain to the blacklist to review the classification as a spammer and that the list approves this claim.
Here are links to some of the most common mailing blacklists:
BarracudaCentral
Spamhaus
Lashback
Surbl
Invaluement.com
Sorbs
DNSBL Manitu
Hostkarma blacklist
On the pages themselves, the process to be followed to get off the blacklist is indicated. In most cases, it is sufficient to give a brief explanation and then the IP is usually subjected to a monitoring for 30 days to verify that the behaviour has been corrected.
